So what is a Tax Clearance certificate? Tax Clearance Certificates
are basically documents issued by SARS to specific that an individual or specific entity is up to date with all its tax returns and payments have been done.
The following taxes are included:
Income tax, Employees tax (PAYE), Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) & Value added tax (VAT).
The Tax Clearance certificate is valid for 12 months. It is important to note that the tax affairs of all the directors of the entity must be up to date as well.
